“He’s a great player, one of the best players in the league,” said longtime teammate Alex Bregman. “He’s done that from time to time in the postseason. You tip your hat to him and try and move on to the next day, move on to the next pitch and continue to struggle and fight.

Correa said: “I know what it’s like when they lose a game. I’ve been on the other side, and I know the speeches and the meetings and everything that happens. They will be ready to go to the next game. We will do the same.”
