Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku was added to the injury report after suffering “burn injuries to his face and arm during a domestic accident,” the team said Saturday.
The Browns also said Njoku is questionable to play in Sunday’s game in Cleveland against the Baltimore Ravens. However, later on Saturday afternoon, Njoku wrote on social media that he would play on Sunday.
“The flesh is weak. See you tomorrow Dogpound,” he said in one post. Njoku’s agent also said on Twitter that the tight end is “fine, thank God.”
A league source told Nexstar’s WJW the accident happened while lighting a fire pit in his backyard.
A video posted on the team’s Twitter account shows Njoku arriving at the Cleveland Browns stadium before Sunday’s game with a full head mask and fur coat.

By the time of the game, it was unclear whether Njoku would join his team on the field. On Saturday, the Browns announced he had been placed on the team’s injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Baltimore Ravens.
