Names
Although Nakua’s original name is Makea, as a child he was known as “Puka” because he was fat. According to Hawaii Prep World, Nakua once explained how he got his nickname, saying that “In Samoan, puka means fat and chubby.”
Value
Despite the immediate WR1 rise, Nacua’s price on DraftKings is still low, at just $4,900.
Outlook
As if he couldn’t get any better after his performance in Week 1, Nacua was even more involved on Sunday against San Francisco. He set new records for most receptions in one game and most receptions during the first two games of a receiver’s career after Sunday’s performance. Nekua is a necessary start for now. The big question is what role Nacua plays when Cooper Kupp is eligible for the first time in Week 5.
