Acuña said he was fine after fending off fans during the middle of the seventh inning at Coors Field in the 14–4 win, including a fan who knocked him down. He was not injured and remained in the game.
A fan put his arms around Acuña in right field before security immediately apprehended the man. A second fan then rushed toward the group and knocked Acuna down, and a member of the security staff chased him and tackled the fan.
