Terence Crawford Post fight interview
With Terence Crawford demolishing Errol Spence Jr. in a one-sided beating tonight, many are already speculating about a contractual rematch between the two, as well as many questions as to how it could go down.
Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) has already more or less said he doesn’t want a rematch at 147, and the winner of the fight – obviously Crawford – has to set terms including weight, then drop it. Granted the loser must actually activate the rematch clause.
But Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) says he is fully prepared to take the fight at 154, as he had already considered another move up in weight.
“It was everything to me. I want to thank Errol Spence and his team for coming together and starting this fight. This is a fight that everyone wanted to see. The whole world was talking about it and we performed brilliantly.
Shot in the head
One of Crawford’s most interesting stories was when he was shot. Crawford was 4-0 and had already won a professional match on a September night in 2008. He was playing shooting dice under the streetlight while walking with his friends. When he was ready to leave, he was shot in the head.
