Real Madrid

Austrian defender David Alaba will join Real Madrid on a five-year contract after leaving Bayern Munich, the Spanish giants confirmed on Friday. The announcement of the signing of the 28-year-old, who had also been linked with several English Premier League clubs, comes a day after Zinedine Zidane quit as Real coach. “Real Madrid has reached an agreement with David Alaba, who will be linked to the club for the next five seasons,” Madrid said in a statement.

David Alaba

Only thing to say really is that Alaba and Joe Gomez were the best defensive partner in the game. Alaba is just amazing and IMO the best defender in the game.

Pace is just insane, he outpaces many of the fastest attackers in the game and with Anchor it makes him even better Pace wise. Shooting isn’t great but he can shoot and score and has scored some longshots for me with his left and even his right because of his 4 star weak foot.

Chelsea

CHELSEA are reportedly refusing to give up in the race to sign David Alaba for free this summer – but his £400,000-a-week wage demands remain an issue. However, Manchester City have decided to end their interest in the Austrian defender.

David Alaba remains a transfer target for Chelsea, PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid but not Manchester City.
