White, a former Chicago Bears top-ten draft pick, returned to New Orleans in August of 2021, and sprung back and forth from the active roster and practice squad.

White played six games with the Saints last season and took one catch for 38 yards. He made frequent appearances on special teams, playing 44% of snaps in the kicking game and earning four tackles. This year he was making real strides in that role and became All-Pro ace J.T. Gray before his injury.
