Doppelganger
A year ago, Packers fans were shocked when they thought there might be two Aaron Rodgers in this world.
The split screen on the national broadcast showed the quarterback on one side and a man named Frank on the other. The German-born Frank was at the Packers vs Bears game with his family. His father, a lifelong Packers fan, always wanted to go.
“It was on her bucket list to move to the LAMBEAU area, and last year my sister and I decided to bring her there,” Frank said.
During the game, and on TV at the same time, Frank became a viral sensation when his image began to be shared around the world.
“While I was sitting, someone said you Twitter account on the NFL Network went viral on the NFL… I have a feeling there are a million views out there, that’s crazy,” Frank said.
Her newfound fame made her a celebrity with people taking her picture everywhere.
Post game interview 9/11/22
The Packers took a chin today. Not much went right in the 23-7 loss to the Vikings. The execution on the crime in particular was not good. While Aaron Rodgers looked very disappointed on the field today, he was surprisingly calm in the postgame interview.
The missed opportunity was the phrase of the day for the Packers offense. In the first game of the game, Rodgers bowled a graceful ball to rookie Christian Watson. Watson beat his man and would have gone for a 75-yard touchdown. Except he dropped it. On another drive down 10-0, AJ Dillon couldn’t make it to 4th and 1st. Rodgers said it was on him because he should have made it to the end zone. If one of these games results in a score, the game looks completely different.
The drops of young receivers have been a topic of discussion throughout the training camp. Rodgers expressed the need to be patient with young receivers at the start of the season. He admitted that as the season progressed, patience would dwindle. Rogers knows it’s a long season. Week 1 last year was a debacle and the Packers recovered. While Rodgers was preaching patience in a post-game interview, it didn’t seem like he was being patient during the game.
