Nyheim Hines was the fastest sprinter in this year’s NFL combination and may be the most explosive playmaker in this draft class. But growing up, he could not beat his twin sister, Nyah, by one position.
“By the time I was about 11, she was faster than me,” Hines admits. “So I’ll win the track meet for the boys, then lose to my sister.”
Nyah even beat his twin brother while running barefoot (he was in track spikes) in the 100 meters when he was about nine years old. “We started running, and at about 30 or 40 meters out of 100, he looked at me and waved and just pulled away,” Hines recalls.
