Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers met with media gathered at his locker for about 20 minutes after practice on Monday.

Here’s a brief overview of some of the most important things Rodgers said:

Rodgers said the offensive line didn’t defend very well at times during Monday’s practice. Several times he had to throw the ball away to avoid a certain sack.

– On playing in the Precision Finale: “Whatever Matt wants us to do, we’ll do it.”

– Rodgers reiterates what he said several times: He wants to have reasonable and realistic expectations for young receivers, while still holding them to the high standard already set in the room.

– He feels great about the Giants at the receiver. Randall Cobb said Monday it was “one of his better practices”. Sammy Watkins had a terrible practice against the Saints. Alan Lazard has been “very consistent”.

– Christian Watson on playing catchup: “Very good, great day tomorrow… Different skill set. Big body that can run.” He added that he needs to track the ball better down the field. Mental The improvement has been remarkable.

– Rodgers said he gave Watson a quick check in the huddle, and the rookie executed it perfectly during Monday’s practice.

– The standard is high for Romeo Dobbs, who has had an exceptional training camp and “will be expected to play.”

Rodgers, 38, revealed on Joe Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, that he played with painkillers and that many players do the same.

“[I played] on Percocet. It was more for pain management, so I wasn’t taking any higher doses, but stupid ones, eventually,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers slammed the league for treating injured athletes, saying it is “a**backs” that they are still given painkillers.

A betting site account on Twitter brought up Rodgers’ 2018 postgame interview and suggested he was on Percocet.
