Latrell Mitchell is an NRL fullback for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Mitchell made his professional rugby league debut in 2016 with the Sydney Roosters, finishing the season as the team’s leading try and point scorer.
Mitchell was chosen by New South Wales coach Brad Fittler to represent the Blues for the first time in the 2018 State of Origin series.
Following a strong debut for the Blues, Mitchell became an integral part of the Sydney Roosters’ 2018 finals series success, eventually winning the NRL grand final against Melbourne Storm.
Mitchell is currently a South Sydney Rabbitohs player, having signed a two-year extension to his original one-year contract in 2020.

Mitchell was fined $1000 and placed under investigation by the NRL on April 27, 2020, after he violated strict lockdown protocols with fellow NRL player Josh Addo-Carr by going on a weekend camping trip during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Addo-Carr was also investigated for gun possession.
Mitchell was fined an additional $50,000 by the NRL on April 28 for violating strict self-isolation protocols and bringing the game into disrepute.
Mitchell was sentenced to a 12-month conditional release order by Taree Local Court on November 9 after pleading guilty to providing a firearm to someone who was not authorised by a licence or permit.
Mitchell’s uncle Maurice Goolagong filed a claim in August 2021, after Mitchell pleaded guilty and was suspended from the NRL for six games.
