Score
Alabama everything it could handle and more.
Will Reichard’s 33-yard field goal with 10 seconds left gave Nick Saban and company a 20-19 victory at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
For long stretches, Alabama was extremely sloppy, committing 15 penalties, the most since Saban took over the programme in 2007.
Texas also did an excellent job of containing defending Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young, who completed only 27 of 39 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown.
He also gained 38 yards on seven carries, but he did lead two fourth-quarter scoring drives.
Overall, Alabama outgained Texas 374-371.
Of course, the most important.

Alabama vs. Texas: What You Need to Know
How will Ewers deal with the pressure?
This is only Ewers’ second meaningful game, and they don’t get much bigger than this.
A big question heading into the game is how Ewers will handle constant pressure from a Crimson Tide defence that had five tackles for loss against the Aggies last week.
Last week against the Warhawks, he had 225 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while completing 66.7% of his passes.
How will he deal with superstar EDGE threat Will Anderson Jr.?
He has the necessary weapons outside to complete the task.
Final score
Final score: Alabama 20, Texas 19.
Alabama defeated Texas, 20-19, despite the fact that it was far from pretty.
The Crimson Tide defeated the Longhorns despite 15 penalties, the most under coach Nick Saban, and poor offensive play.
Quarterback Bryce Young didn’t get much help from his offensive line or wide receivers today, but the Heisman Trophy winner orchestrated two key drives in the fourth quarter when his team needed him the most.
The first was an 11-play, 75-yard touchdown drive; the second was a two-minute drill drive that covered 61 yards in nine plays and resulted in the game-winning field goal with just seconds remaining.
Texas must be pleased with itself.
