We have FULL RESULTS for all the ESPNN and ESPN+ action from the UFC 279 preliminary card bouts RIGHT HERE.
When it comes to the pay-per-view (PPV) main card, the last 24 hours have been nothing short of hectic, presuming you haven’t just woken up from a coma.
After Khamzat Chimaev had a bad day on the scale due to a weight-related medical issue, Nate Diaz will instead face fellow welterweight fighter Tony Ferguson in the five-round main event of UFC 279 instead of the planned headliner.
In place of Ferguson, who was supposed to fight “Trailblazer,” “Borz” will now fight Li Jingliang in a three-round co-main event spot opposite Kevin Holland. Daniel Rodriguez, who was originally supposed to face “Trailblazer,” will now face Li Jingliang.

Diaz capitalised on this momentum by winning three of his next four fights to earn a crack at the first WEC Lightweight Championship.
At Warrior Cup 1, Diaz competed against Dennis Davis for the inaugural WEC Lightweight Championship. Diaz won the bout via keylock submission in the first round.
Afterward, he was defeated by Hermer França in the second round of WEC 24 to lose the championship on his initial defence (armbar).

Mexican-American fighter Nate Diaz was born and raised in Stockton, California.
Nate Diaz has made it abundantly clear throughout his career that he adores Stockton.
The UFC veteran has made Stockton a mecca for MMA fans by putting his area code, “209,” on the map of the world.
When Nate Diaz initially entered the TUF house in season five, he immediately made a name for himself in the UFC.
He did this by painting “209” all over the house using spray paint.
