Nickname
Divasón Figueredo uses the surname ‘Duce de Guerra’, which has a significant meaning in Portuguese.
‘Dev’ means ‘Lord’, ‘Da’ means ‘Gives’, and ‘Guerra’ translates to ‘War’ in English. Combined, ‘Duce da Guerra’ is Portuguese meaning ‘the god of war’ or ‘god of war’ in short.
The nickname is probably a tribute to the Greek god Kratos from the God of War video game series by Santa Monica Studios.
The red streak on Divson Figueredo’s head is also similar to a Kratos sporting, except that the demigod comes down to his eyes and face too—but that might be a bit much for the flyweight champion.

Manager
UFC flyweight champion Daveson Figueredo’s split with longtime manager Walid Ismail has not been cordial.
Figueiredo (21-2-1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC) recently parted ways with Ismail over a contract dispute, telling MMA Fighting that Ismail had become someone he no longer trusted.
For his most recent fight in January, Figueredo revealed $150,000 and considered his purse “embarrassing” after defeating Brandon Moreno at UFC 270. With the champion currently healing from injuries to both hands, the promotion opted to create an interim title fight between Moreno and Kai Cara-France, which would take place at UFC 277 on 30 July.
Ismail’s split with Figueredo initially appeared amicable, but Ismail stated that Figueredo lied in an interview with Egg Fight. Because of this, Ismail has decided not to openly bite his tongue on social media (h/t Sherdog).
Loss
Diveson Figueredo says he is almost fully recovered and is targeting a return to the Octagon this winter.
UFC flyweight champion Figueredo has been out since January with a hand injury and a knee injury. With that, the UFC has an interim title match between former champion Brandon Moreno and Kai Cara-France, scheduled for Saturday night in the co-main event of UFC 277 at the American Airlines Center here.
Figueredo, who flew in on Thursday from his native Brazil to watch the fight, told ESPN that his health is “95 percent” and he believes he can fight the Moreno vs Cara-France winner in December or early January. can come back for.
Figueredo has previously said he was not a big fan of the idea of an interim title while he was sidelined, but said he looked forward to seeing the bout on Saturday.
