What happened to:
The former Oregon Ducks star failed to move through to the final in the event after failing to post a qualifying time in the semifinal round Tuesday night. Prandini finished fourth in her semifinal heat with a time of 22.08 seconds.
Prandini started strong and was second coming out of the turn, but she faded during the final 25 meters and was overtaken by Nigeria’s Aminatou Seyni and Switzerland’s Mujinga Kambundji. Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson won the heat with a semifinal-best time of 21.67 seconds.
Results:
Former University of Oregon athlete Kemba Nelson helped Jamaica advance to the final of the women’s 4×100-meter relay during Friday’s heats at the World Athletics Championships.
Jamaica’s team finished with a time of 42.37 seconds, good for second place in the first heat and an automatic qualification for the final. Nelson led Jamaica with a time of 10.11 in the anchor leg of the relay.
Single:
Jenna Prandini is hard to catch, you can take that literally, but yes, she is hard to get. The 28-year-old sprinter is single and doesn’t have a boyfriend as of 2021.
The two-time national champion at 200 meters doesn’t seem to be the kind of person who would hide things from her fan, so if she had a boyfriend, we would know.
The United States led all qualifiers with a time of 41.56 in the second heat. Former UO sprinter Jenna Prandini ran the third leg for the U.S., while Melissa Jefferson, Aleia Hobbs and Twanisha Terry rounded out the team.
