WWE said on Friday that Mr McMahon, 76, had “voluntarily stepped down from his responsibilities”. His 45-year-old daughter Stephanie will serve as interim CEO and chairman. Mr McMahon has not responded directly to the claims but, in a statement, promised “full cooperation in the investigation”.
