According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pelicans reportedly traded the Hawks their No. 4 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft in exchange for Atlanta’s No. 8, 17 and 35 selections. New Orleans is also sending forward Solomon Hill, their No. 57 pick and future second-round pick as part of the deal.

Injuries are a constant concern for the Atlanta Hawks, with the team’s depth coming to the test in the first half of the 2020-21 season due to the disappearance of several key pieces. On Monday, just a few days after Bogdan Bogdanovic shared the latest progress of the injury, the organization provided an update on D’Andre Hunter’s status.
Hunter suffered a right knee injury on Friday, Jan. 29 and, after an MRI revealed “articular wear and tear in his right knee,” the second-year forward underwent a non-surgical procedure. He was absent from the last four games as a result, and Atlanta announced on Sunday that he will undergo a lateral meniscus arthroscopic debridement procedure on Monday at the Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center in Atlanta.
Dr. Kyle Hammond, the Hawks’ team orthopedist, will perform the surgery. While there is no definitive timetable for his recovery, the Hawks are expected to provide an update on Hunter’s recovery plan.
