2022 was the fourth annual Double or Nothing Professional Wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Double or Nothing All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place during Memorial Day weekend at T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, on May 29, 2022.

2022 AEW Double or Nothing: Results| Recap| Grades

CM Punk became the world champion for the first time since 2013. Punk captured the AEW World Heavyweight Championship by defeating “Hangman” Adam Page in the main event of AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday night, closing an unusually uneven pay-per-view event for AEW.

Page may have been able to take the win inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but he hesitated when deciding to use the championship belt as a shortcut while ousting the referee, giving Punk a buckshot Lariat bout. allowed to do so. To sleep to capture the title.

It was a long night of action that saw many of AEW’s top stars in action, although the standout match of the night was likely to be an arena match, with Chris Jericho and The Jericho Appreciation Society winning over Bryan’s team. Danhausen spent the opening round of the match in the ring, which was cut from his corner as Ness and Sterling built up early momentum. He was finally able to hook and tag Sterling off the ring apron instead of taking the tag at the start. But Danhausen makes the mistake of giving Ness a pat on the back, which counts as a tag as Hook runs wild with a variety of throws and suplexes on both team members. After Sterling was put down by the hook, Danhausen called for the tag and came in to put his foot on Sterling’s chest for the pin. There was not much for the match except to heat up the crowd as Huckhausen’s overs team won. Hookhausen def. Tony Ness

For the first time since 2013, CM Punk has become the world champion in the world of pro wrestling. At All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing event on Sunday, Punk defeated “Hangman” Adam Page to win the AEW World Title.

The crowd was on their feet for the entire event inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. There was a similar fire at midnight ET, when the show started at around 7:30 pm. ET. The night felt like a big boxing or MMA event, fitting for a Las Vegas setting.

Page put all his might to retain his title and used all his anger to humiliate Punk. Punk will not give up. Page, returning to his controversial roots, ended up making a minor mistake, and it allowed Punk to hit GTS for the win. 43-year-old Punk is once again on top of the world.
