NHL fans have been waiting to see the magic of Conor McDavid in season after season. We’ve seen him tear it down during the regular season, but not make a full run in the playoffs.
We caught a glimpse in 2017 when the Oilers went through to the second round. We were teased in 2020 when McDavid had nine points, but Edmonton failed to advance past the qualifying round.
In 2022, we are finally getting the full spectacle.
It’s hard to find words that can properly do justice to McDavid’s performance. In 10 games so far in the playoffs, the Oilers captain has six goals and 17 assists, good for 23 points. He has at least two points in every game except Game 4 against the Kings in the first round.
