Liverpool have completed the signing of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham after missing a winger on Deadline Day in January.
Carvalho’s current deal expires this summer and Fulham is entitled to a tribunal-determined compensation if the teenager joins another English side at his end, while Continental clubs will only have to pay a nominal fee.
The 19-year-old moved to Anfield on July 1 on a five-year contract.
Carvalho underwent a medical with Fulham’s permission before the transfer, which pays Fulham £5m plus add-on to Liverpool.
Liverpool’s move to Carvalho in January fell through after the Premier League side ran out of time to complete the deal on Deadline Day.
