Graham Paul Thorpe, MBE is a former English cricketer who played for England internationally and Surrey domestically. A left-handed middle-order batsman and slip fielder, he appeared in 100 Test matches.

The magnificent left-handed batsman played 100 tests and scored 6744 runs with 16 tons and 39 fifties at an average of around 45. He also represented England in 82 ODIs scoring 2380 runs with 21 half-centuries at an average of 37.
If it’s the award that tells it all, then Graham Thorpe has lots of award in his kitty. He was declared Wisden Cricketer of the Year award in 1998. He also bagged 10 Man-of-the-match (MOM) and 2 Man-of-the-series award (MOS) in his illustrious 12-year-long international Cricket career.

Personal life. Thorpe is married to Amanda. In May 2022, it was revealed that Thorpe had been hospitalised for a “serious illness” with an “unclear prognosis”.
Thorpe has two children with ex-wife Nicky, but he doesn’t have any with Amanda.
The 52-year-old’s life with Amanda has been kept extremely private, and it’s not known how the pair met or what she does for a living.

Thorpe left the England coaching set-up following their thrashing at the hands of Australia in The Ashes last year.
A statement was released by the PCA on behalf of Thorpe’s family on Tuesday afternoon.
“Graham Thorpe has recently fallen seriously ill and is currently in hospital receiving treatment,” it read.

Graham Thorpe is married to Amanda. The couple has been married since his divorce from his first wife Nicky. Aside from her marriage to Thorpe, there is no information about Amanda’s personal life.
