Soon after we received a teaser for the upcoming Naruto x Jordan Zion collection, we now take a look at the Naruto Shippuden-themed Jordan Zion 1 sneakers. As expressed by Zion Williamson, the collaborative range with Jordan Brand celebrates its relationship with manga/anime, specifically “parallel paths of overcoming adversity.”

In addition to the requisite apparel range, Zion 1 has three different colorways in the collection. Inspired by different variations of different types of characters.

Leading the selection is an orange and yellow hue in Naruto’s Six Paths Sage mode. The back of the shoe is marked with motifs found on the hero’s jacket. This next take is based on Six Paths Madara Uchiha, which prominently features her Rinne Sharingan dojutsu on her tongue.

Completing the selection is the third colorway that reprises the form of Naruto in his Nine-Tailed Demon Fox Four Tails form. Expressing a mix of black and dark red that resembles the chakra cloak that covered his body with the mark of the jinchuriki seal that seals Kurama inside Naruto at the heel.

Priced at $130 USD, the Naruto x Jordan Zion 1 is expected to be released in the coming weeks.

Return from injury

Pelicans forward Zion Williamson is yet to take the field this season. The Pelicans surprised everyone at media day when executive vice president David Griffin announced that Williamson received off-season surgery to repair a fractured right leg.

Every update after that seemed negative, with Williamson suffering a setback in November, which required an injection in his leg in December. He was dropped through the All-Star break in early February, then it was reported that he would be stepping away from the team in early March.

Game 5

The New Orleans Pelicans had high hopes of being ousted by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. However, they put up an incredible fight against the best team in the NBA in the regular season, and the additional absence of Devin Booker helped them tie the series leading up to Game 5. And while there’s still a long way to go, there may be one thing that energizes the franchise even more during their current playoff run.

Franchise star, Zion Williamson, has missed the entirety of this season recovering from a leg injury where he is pushed repeatedly from time to time. This led to some speculation as to why he wasn’t playing and that the video released by Zion didn’t help him. However, now that things are going in New Orleans, another promising video of Zion looking good playing.
