Manchester United interim manager Ralph Rangnick met with reporters on Monday afternoon and previewed our Premier League game against Liverpool.

His side will travel to Anfield on Tuesday evening in search of a consistent win after Saturday’s win over Norwich City.

Ahead of the Liverpool clash, Ralph answered questions from reporters at his media briefing, which is divided into two separate sections.

The first part was released this afternoon, while the second part was restricted to 22:30 BST, and is therefore now available for you to watch in full.

“I think I answered that question earlier in the last two or three weeks. I don’t think a club like Manchester United can take three or four years to achieve that, and I don’t think it’s necessary.” We talked earlier about Liverpool how long it took them. After two or three transfer windows if you know what you’re looking for I mean if you don’t know what you’re looking for You’ll always be looking for a needle in a haystack. If you know what type of football you want to play, what type of profile you have for each individual situation, it’s about finding them, but not just Finding them but also convincing them to come. As I said when Liverpool finished eighth, I think the year they didn’t play international football at all, so the whole focus of Jurgen [Klopp] is in the Premier League. And it was on to the national cup competitions. I think it took two transfer windows then, but the other ones to come later. Even in the transfer window, he did lots of, very good transfers and signings, and that’s all. It’s not that complicated, it’s not rocket science, but to get your best possible wind, you need to know where your destination is. If you don’t know it, it’s always hard.

Manchester United manager Ralph Ragnick has given a post-match reaction to his team’s loss to Liverpool, saying a “drastic” rebuild is necessary.

The Red Devils lost 4–0 to their arch-rivals, which acted as yet another embarrassing result for the club after a disappointing season.

Ralph Rangnick: “It’s embarrassing, it’s utterly depressing and even humiliating, but we have to admit they’re six years ahead of us.”

“First half, we weren’t good enough. We didn’t win any first ball or second ball. We were second best in all relevant areas.”

“In the second half we converted a centre-back with Jadon Sancho. The first 25 minutes we were the better and there was pressure on the ball at times. There were two or three moments, but the third goal ended the game.”

“The team needs to rebuild – that’s clear. I think a game like today showed it in a very drastic way that this rebuilding is necessary.”

The result shook United’s top four hopes, while Liverpool’s title ambitions got a boost.

“We just have to accept that they (Liverpool) are six years ahead of us. When you compare the team that Liverpool have, which Jurgen inherited when he came six years ago.”

He concluded: “It’s the sad truth right now, but that’s what we have to accept.”

Ralph Rangnick is urging his Manchester United side to strike the ideal balance of compact defense and positive attacking game as the search for a top-four spot continues.

Tottenham Hotspur’s surprise weekend defeat at home to Brighton, coupled with our tight win over Norwich City at Old Trafford, means United are now just three points away from fourth-placed Spurs in the Premier League.

Rangnik’s men face an uphill journey to Anfield this evening, followed by tests against fellow Champions League chasers Arsenal on Saturday and then against Chelsea next Thursday, when our home clash with them takes place at Emirates. Their success in reaching the FA Cup final was brought forward. ,

When we sat down with Ralph on Monday afternoon, he revealed what he wants to see from his players along with three key points.
