Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (French pronunciation born 16 October 1997) is a Monegasque racing driver, currently racing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. Leclerc won the GP3 Series Championship in 2016 and the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2017.

Pronunciation
Every F1 fan has heard of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who has starred alongside the likes of four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel. But some, including commentators and analysts, are unaware of how Monegasque’s name is pronounced. Fortunately for fans of the game, Leclerc himself clarified the pronunciation of his name.
In a silly interview with F1 journalist Will Buxton, Charles Leclerc taught Britain the correct pronunciation of its name. Driver specified that while fans don’t mind addressing him with an English pronunciation of his name, the Monegasque or French pronunciation does not spell either an ‘s’ nor a ‘c’ in his name. While there are some exceptions, the final consonant is not pronounced in French. So, the pronunciation of his name would be closer to ‘charl leclair’ – similar to an éclair, which is a French pastry. However, both pastries and names do not have an ‘R’ sound at the end.

For the game’s new ‘My Team’ feature, developer Codemasters ranks existing drivers out of 100 in terms of how expensive it is for users to sign up.
Lewis Hamilton received the highest ranking, but Valtteri Bottas is listed on par with Max Verstappen, while Charles Leclerc is only seventh – less than Kimi Raikkonen.
Meanwhile, Kevin Magnussen and George Russell are only 17th and 18th.
“I saw some of them,” Ferrari’s Leclerc said when asked by his Twitch followers about the rankings.

The team’s two drivers, Leclerc was the one who hit that level most consistently. He came within three laps of winning at Silverstone, which has eluded the team since 2019.
Nonetheless, Leclerc finished the season behind his teammate Carlos Sainz Jr. in the points standings. It was due to some misfortune, but there were also times when he dropped points on the table.
Leclerc ran in front of the car in the early stages in Bahrain, before the likes of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez inevitably found their way into the much faster cars, as Lando Norris did in his McLaren. The races that competed for Ferrari had its ups and downs, so this kind of performance was not always possible, but Leclerc consistently gave a very good account of himself.
At Imola he propelled himself to second, but missed the podium finish after Norris resumed him. Leclerc ran well, passing Sainz in Portugal, and was in fine form at the Spanish Grand Prix, passing Bottas early and taking the flag ahead of Perez in fourth.
