The design of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Medal not only reflects the culture and spirit of the host country, China, but also incorporates the innovative ideas and inspiring creativity of the artists.

Based on the principle that no two winter sports are equally wonderful, the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games medals are inspired by the same concept and use the same design.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) logo is engraved on the central part of the obverse of the Winter Paralympic medals, and is surrounded by the words ‘Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games’ in English in engraved letters and Braille beads.
