Joshua Thomas McDaniels (born April 22, 1976) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He served as an assistant coach for the New England Patriots for 17 consecutive seasons and as offensive coordinator for 14 non-consecutive seasons since starting his career with the team in 2001. In between his Patriots tenure, he served as the head coach of the Denver Broncos from 2009 to 2010.

Joshua Thomas McDaniels (born April 22, 1976) is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).

In 2009, McDaniels was appointed as the head coach of the Denver Broncos. At the time of his appointment, McDaniels, 33, was the youngest head coach in the NFL, although less than a week later the Tampa Bay Buccaneers named Raheem Morris, who is five months younger, as their head coach. McDaniels was fired by Denver in 2010 after a 3-9 start. He spent the 2011 season as offensive coordinator for the St. Louis Rams, but he was released by the Rams to serve as an offensive assistant for the 2011–12 NFL playoffs.
