Quarterback Ryan Tanhill transitioned his NFL career from Miami Dolphins franchise quarterback to backup Tennessee Titans quarterback and then became Nashville’s $118 million man in the 2020 season. Tanhill signed a four-year, $118 million contract with the Titans in 2020, keeping him under contract through the 2023 season. While the restructuring this season has reduced their cap figure, it will increase the number in future years when the cap is expected to increase, potentially in 2023. Without adding zero years, Tanhill’s cap hit is expected to increase to approximately $42 million. 2022.
