Retirement:
David Warner has listed Test success in India as a priority before retirement, with the next Ashes series also a lure for the veteran opener to play on past 2022…
Warner, 35, has long spoken about his desire to keep playing, believing his one-year ban in 2018 has extended his career.
IPL:
Released by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) before the IPL 2022 mega auction, David Warner is unlikely to be picked by any of the two new franchises as he has hinted at entering the auction. Given Warner’s success with SRH, he was expected to draw the interest of both franchises.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Replying to a user on Instagram, Warner has hinted that he hasn’t been contacted by any franchise and that he will most likely be in the mega auction.
Score today:
David Warner has offered his advice to England after Australia reclaimed the Ashes, saying that one element of the Old Enemy’s play hasn’t changed since last tour.
Brewery:
David Warner was recently in India where he featured in IPL 2021 for Sunrisers Hyderabad before the tournament was indefinitely postponed with immediate effect due to the emergence of COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubble.
However, with IPL suspended for the time being, Warner returned to Australia on Monday after spending time in the Maldives due to the flight restrictions in Australia.
