Gary Leroy Brown (born July 1, 1969) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Houston Oilers in the eighth round of the 1991 NFL Draft. Brown is a former running back coach for the Dallas Cowboys.[1] A 5’11”, 230-pounder running back from Penn State, Brown played in eight NFL seasons for three teams from 1991 to 1999. He currently runs for Wisconsin. The university has running back coaches.

Brown played for three teams during his time in the NFL and ran over 1,000 yards twice in his career, first with the Houston Oilers with 1,002 yards during the 1993 season and then with 1,063 yards during the 1998 season. For the New York Giants.After retiring from professional football after the 1999 season, Gary returned to Williamsport and was hired from 2003 to 2005 as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Williamsport High School and Lycoming College. Little Falls – Gary D. Brown, 56, of Little Falls, South William St., died on Monday morning, May 21, 2007, at Little Falls Hospital, after suffering a stroke at home. He was born in Mohawk on January 12, 1951, the son of the late Lester Brown, Sr., and Betty (Cunningham) Brown. He was educated at Mohawk schools and attended Herkimer County Community College. He was married to Michelle Drapalski on 23 June 1973 at Sacred Heart Church, Little Falls. They would have completed 34 years of marriage this year. He was last employed by LaSalle Laboratories in Little Falls. Gary was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Mohawk and belonged to the United Polka League. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was never happy when he was surrounded by his family. She would be sad for all who knew her. Survivors include his wife: Michelle of Little Falls; Their children: Jennifer Sinakowski and husband Tom of Holland Patent and Jason Brown and wife Trista of Utica; two brothers: Lester Brown, Mohawk’s junior and Thomas Brown, and Mohawk’s wife Gloria; a sister: Donna Brown of Pinetop, AZ; four grandchildren: Katie, Chris and Hannah Sinakowski and Isabella Brown; her mother-in-law: Anne Drapalski of Little Falls and in-laws: Joel and Flora Drapalski of Maryland, Kerry and Marcy Drapalski of Maryland, and Mark and Janet Drapalski of Illion; Many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends in Holeran.
