On October 19, 1996, Larry Nassar got married to Stephanie Lynn Anderson at St. John’s Catholic Church in East Lansing. He has two daughters.

He is accused of sexually assaulting more than 250 women and girls back in the early ’90s. Larry Nassar is serving a federal penalty of 60 years in prison and the state penalty of 40 to 125 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to 10 of those accusations. Before the sentence, Nassar was a sought-after physician at Michigan State University (MSU).

Hundreds of women abused by former US national gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar are to receive $380 million (£287 million) after reaching a settlement with USA Gymnastics.

It ends a five-year legal battle that began in the wake of the huge abuse scandal that rocked US sport.

Nassar was sentenced to over 300 years in jail in 2018 for molesting gymnasts. Athletes including a number of Olympic medallists testified about how Nassar sexually abused them.
