Gardner Minshaw is back, as the former Jacksonville Jaguars QB debuted for the Eagles in their game against the Jets today and Minshaw once again showed up with a game that fans loved.

Minshoo, who was filling up for the injured Jalen Harts, threw a touchdown pass on his first drive and looked very quick on the drive.

He also looked sharp before the game as he showed up at MetLife Stadium dressed as a fighter pilot from the movie “Top Gun.”

Check out this swag from Minshaw, who hasn’t started a game since last season.

From the player’s entrance to post-game on Sunday, Gardner Minshaw made his debut as the team’s starting quarterback with an all-out performance for Eagles fans.

And while the touchdowns were great for Dallas Goedert, such as a third down conversion and win, the best part of Minshaw’s day came after the final whistle.

Minshaw finally managed to find his father, Flint Minshaw, on his way out of the stadium, and his embrace and ensuing celebration was an all-time terrifying moment.

Steelers

Jaguars are sending QB Gardner Minshaw II to the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional 2022 sixth-round pick, according to sources. If Minchev plays 50 percent of the game in this season’s three matches, the sixth-round pick could move to fifth place.

This offseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t shy about going out and getting people to help this team. It has been a pleasant surprise for a franchise that is generally content to pat and doesn’t make any waves in the off-season.

So with this newly aggressive stance about the roster, it turned out that quarterback Gardner Minshaw II was on the market and the asking price was only a conditional fifth-round pick. The Jacksonville Jaguars traded Minshoo to the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.

Understand that we don’t know if the Steelers knew or were interested in Minshu as a quarterback. But objectively speaking, Minshu on the Steelers is automatically the team’s second-best quarterback by a wide margin. For a team that was looking for a replacement for Ben Roethlisberger, Minshaw would have made a good backup plan.

Salary

Gardner Minshaw is an American football quarterback who now plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL).

Similarly, Jacksonville Jaguars picked him in the 6th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Before the NFL, he played college football at East Carolina. He was later transferred to Washington State.

Apart from being a footballer, Gardner is also a social media star. He rose to prominence for his mustache look and personality, which earned him popularity on social media in September 2019.

It would be fair to say that the 24-year-old has also captivated his fans with his mustache.

Stats

Minshaw, who only cost the Eagles a conditional sixth-round pick, has put up some pretty impressive numbers in his two years with the Jaguars.

He won only seven out of 20, but considering how little talent was around him in Jacksonville, Minshaw played as well as one could realistically expect from a 6th-round youngster .

Let’s take a look at 10 Gardner Minashu stats that might surprise you. Or maybe even shock you.

As a rookie in 2019, Minshaw completed 61 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns, six interceptions, a 91.2 passer rating and 233 yards per game. Among rookies who have thrown at least 400 passes, that passer rating is the 4th-highest in NFL history, behind Dak Prescott Justin Herbert and Baker Mayfield His 233 yards per game is the ninth-highest, his touchdown ratio [one out of 22 attempts] is the 7th-best by a rookie and his INT ratio [one out of every 78 attempts] is the third-best of all time.
