Ahead of the Patriots-Falcons’ Week 11 Thursday Night Football game, Patterson’s availability is in question. His position will certainly affect the Week 11 RB rankings and the Weaver Wire pickup, and while we wait for the latest injury updates, his decisions hang in the balance.

We’ll continue to update this article with news on Patterson until the official active/passive report arrives on Thursday, around 6:50 p.m. ET. For all the latest fantasy updates, follow us on Twitter.

According to the team’s official injury report, Falcons offensive playmaker Cordrell Patterson was formally considered suspicious of playing the New England Patriots. The report, released on Wednesday afternoon, said Patterson had an ankle injury.

Head coach Arthur Smith said in a Wednesday morning press conference that Patterson’s position would remain uncertain until just before Thursday night’s game.

“He’s practiced all week and it’s been a short week,” Smith said. “Not that it’s been a Junction Boys-style exercise, but he’s attended. We’ll make the best decision tomorrow, probably pregame. We’ll go through it all.”

Injury update

In other passable news, the Falcons will also be without Jaylin Hawkins. He is also battling an ankle injury. Dean Pease said Wednesday that security was injured before the Dallas game. He was unable to play last Sunday and was limited during practice this week.

The Falcons have chosen to keep out several rotational defensive linemen, including former starter Tyler Davison. Marlon Davidson and John Kominsky also joined Davison on the inactive list.

The Falcons are also under a tight end as the organization announced earlier on Thursday that Hayden Hurst (ankle) was to be placed on injured reserve along with OLB and special teams player Darren Bates (groin). To make up for the lack of depth in some areas, the Falcons signed OLB Emmanuel Ellerby and TE Parker Hesse to an active 53-man roster. He also used a standard practice team height on WR Marvin Hall and safety Sean Williams. With Josh Andrews on the reserve/COVID-19 list, it made room for RB Qadri Ollison, on whom the Falcons used a COVID-19 upgrade.
