Not perfect for making imitations: Bird was incredibly sleek, but he didn’t really dance or crossover like Thompson. Still, Thompson was certainly right about two things: Players wore incredibly short shorts in the 1980s (albeit without compression shorts Thompson wore), and the Celtics legend was clever in his own way.

Thompson suffered a torn ACL during the NBA Finals in 2019. As he rehabbed in November of 2020, he tore his right Achilles – a devastating blow that ruled him out for the 2020-21 season. According to The Athletics sham Charaniya, Thompson is expected to be approved for full contact in November.

Thompson began joining the Warriors for practice in September.

“Everyone is excited that Klay is on the field,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “He basically did every single thing in practice today. We didn’t scramble, we didn’t have any live contact, but Kel is very happy to be playing and we are all very happy to see him a part of it. So just a very good first day , the first few days, and good energy as we start rolling in.”

Five-time All-Star Klay Thompson is expected to play this season after missing out on the 2019-20 and 2020-21 campaigns, but will not be available for the start of the year. This isn’t a huge surprise, as he hasn’t featured in an NBA game since June of 2019, when the Warriors lost to the Raptors in the NBA Finals.

What is Klay Thompson’s injury?
Thompson was on his way to recovery after missing the entirety of the 2019–20 NBA season with a torn ACL in his left knee. How long will Klay Thompson be out?
In the October 14 edition of the stadium’s “Inside the Association” show, Shams Charania reported that Thompson “will be cleared for full practice in the next month.”

Charania said, “From there, it’s about him walking the ramp, he’s going into rehab, continuing to figure out what pace they want to bring him back and when they feel comfortable with him. ” “It’s just not going to get cleared for practice after two big injuries and then just go to the game.

Klay Thompson, the Golden Boy of the Golden State Warriors, was one of the greatest NBA shooters ever. As skilled and lethal as Stephen Curry, he ruled the other half of the sneaky Splash Brothers for five long seasons. In his last season in the league, Thompson averaged 3.1 threes per game.

However, a brutal injury sustained in the final moments of the 2019 NBA Finals. In this game, the Warriors were putting their lives on the line while playing against the Toronto Raptors. With 2:24 minutes left, Curry passed the ball to Kel for an in-transition dunk. But the move cost Klay the entire 2019-20 season and the Warriors 2019 Championship. His ACL ruptured after landing the wrong way, leaving him in rehab for a year.

Then on November 18, 2020, during practice, Klay Thompson tore his Achilles. Speaking to the media about his injury, Thompson confessed how he got it. Anthony Slater wrote the following about the incident in his tweet:
