He is 22 years old. Lance Stroll moved to the competitive Rotax Junior class in 2010 after just one Mini Max season. He managed to score his second national karting win but 2010 also saw succesful competition outside of the Canadian border with a win in the Florida Winter Tour.
2011 saw a move to Europe and KF3 karting with Lance Stroll with a hectic schedule including the World Cup, WSK Euro Series, WSK Final Cup, Bridgestone Cup and the German Championship.
After a season without any big wins in Europe Lance Stroll was back at it for 2012 winning the Andrea Margutti Trophy and the SKUSA SuperNationals. 2013 was to be the last full season of karting with Lance moving up to the KF class.
The first season of single seater racing started with the Florida Winter Series with 10 races at Sebring, Palm Beach and Homestead. This pre-season non-points scoring series worked as a good training ground for the proper racing season: the Italian Formula 4 championship. Lance Stroll dominated the championship and took 10 wins in 17 races, finishing nearly 100 points ahead of the second placed man Luca Drudi.
