The world’s most famous SEC campaigner is talking about the Clemson football program and Dabo Swinney—rather than his own convention—because, well, he’s still hurt.
Apart from Clemson Football, there has been no program to come close to Alabama’s reputation during the past half-decade. The result leaves Paul Finebaum to talk to Dabo Swinney and Clemson about what you’d expect from an SEC network analyst.
Even now that Clemson Football is out of the race for the CFB playoffs and clearly a down year, Feinbaum still has time to spend taking unfair shots at Swinney.
“Dabo Swinney, for all his charm, is a pretty lousy loser,” Feinbaum said on the ESPN College Football podcast. “No one wants to hear his booze, no one really wants to hear what he says. He’s a good winner — well, he’s not a good winner either. But he’s a terrible loser. “

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey made some waves over the weekend when he called on the ACC to reschedule its conference the way it appears to be canceling games instead. Naturally, Clemson’s head coach Dabo Swinney had a lot to say about this.
Yesterday, Swinney denied the notion that the ACC would be canceling games to make it easier for multiple teams to reach the college football playoffs. He made it clear that he and the rest of the ACC wanted to play this weekend and were ready.
“If the ACC was really trying to defend Clemson and Notre Dame, why would we even play a game this week?” Swain said, per ESPN. “I mean, if six wins can get you to the playoffs, shouldn’t nine get you there? Shouldn’t 10 get you there?
“I would have loved to play this past weekend. I didn’t mind. But I decided not to. We wanted to play when we were in Tallahassee and were about to get on the bus and play. Things keep happening.

Clemson’s head coach Dabo Swinney is the third-highest-paid coach in college football, according to a USA Today Sports release.
The release, which came out on Wednesday, showed Swine’s net worth is $8,319,775. According to USA Today methodology, total pay includes the sum of actual school pay (the balance on the coach’s current contract) plus athletically related compensation received from non-university sources.
The two leading coaches ahead of Swine are Ed Orgeron of LSU, with a net worth of $8,918,500, and Nick Saban of Alabama, with a net worth of $9.3 million, both from the Southeastern Conference.
The release took into account the reduction in the contract year pandemic as well as the reduction in the total pandemic. Swinney’s pandemic has reduced a total of $1.25 million, which is the total amount to be spared by a coach during a fully agreed or announced period.
