The University of Cincinnati released its 2021 football schedule Thursday.

The Bearcats will look to build on a school-record 20-game winning streak at Nippert Stadium in 2021, with home matchups against Miami (Ohio), Murray State, SMU, Temple, Tulsa and UCF.

AP Football Poll: Cincinnati Bearcats rank No. 8.

The Bearcats were ranked No. 8 when the first AP poll was released Monday. The No. 8 ranking comes a week after the team was selected No. 10 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.

Score today:

Cincinnati, which has won 31 games over the past three seasons, including a 9-1 mark last season, is the first team from outside of the Power Five conferences to be ranked in the preseason AP top 10 since Louisville started ninth in 2012.

The Cardinals, who were also a member of the American Athletic Conference, joined the Atlantic Coast Conference the following year.

2020:

The 2020 Cincinnati Bearcats football team represented the University of Cincinnati in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bearcats played their home games at Nippert Stadium and competed as members of the American Athletic Conference. They were led by fourth-year head coach Luke Fickell.

Ratings
