The San Francisco, California native produced one of the biggest single-season turnarounds in NAIA history during his first year in Ottawa in 1997. Inheriting a team that posted a 1-8 record the previous season, Creighton led his club to 9-2 finishes en route to capture their first Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference title since 1972. He led Ottawa to a conference championship in 2000, as well as appearances in the NAIA playoffs in ’97 and 2000.
