Drew Lock is a professional quarterback who plays for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft after playing college football at the University of Missouri.

Lock stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and has built his professional career through starting opportunities and backup roles. He has also gained attention for his ability to make deep throws and move outside the pocket.

According to the Seahawks’ official roster, Lock is 29 years old during the 2026 season.

Drew Lock has played for three NFL franchises during his professional career, with Seattle appearing in multiple seasons.

These teams and season statistics are documented in the NFL’s career records and Seattle’s official player profile.

Who Is Drew Lock’s Wife?

The couple have two children: their son, Layton Andrew Lock, born in January 2024, and their daughter, Landry Isabela Lock, born in December 2025.

Drew Lock Injury Update: Is He Injured?

Drew Lock was listed with a right forearm issue on the Seattle Seahawks’ estimated injury report in October 2026.

He was listed as limited during practices leading up to Seattle’s Week 6 matchup against the Denver Broncos. However, the final injury reporting indicated that he would not carry an injury designation into the Thursday night game.

That was a positive development for Seattle because it meant Lock was expected to be available as the team’s backup quarterback.

An injury designation does not always mean a player is unavailable. Teams assess the injury, practice participation and medical status before determining whether a player can take part in a game.

For the latest information, the official Seahawks injury report is the best place to check for changes.

Is Drew Lock Playing Tonight?

As of Friday, October 16, 2026, Seattle’s Thursday night game against Denver has already taken place.

Before that matchup, Lock was expected to be available after his forearm issue did not result in a final injury designation. His usual role was as the primary backup behind Sam Darnold, rather than the starting quarterback.

Therefore, Lock’s availability should not be confused with confirmation that he will start or play in every game. His participation depends on the Seahawks’ quarterback plans, game circumstances and any subsequent injury updates.

Fans checking whether he is playing tonight should consult the Seahawks’ current schedule and official roster announcements rather than relying on an older injury report.
