Nebraska is among the most storied programs in college football history. Through 2019, the Cornhuskers rank seventh in all-time victories among FBS teams. Nebraska claims 46 conference championships and five national championships (1970, 1971, 1994, 1995, and 1997), and has won nine other national championships that the school does not claim. NU’s 1971 and 1995 title-winning teams are considered to be among the best in college football history.

Press Conference
Nebraska officially begins spring football on Tuesday, but Coach Scott Frost, both coordinators and a few players all met with the media to kick things off on Tuesday. Frost spoke first, addressing a number of topics including the reports about canceling the Oklahoma matchup and what the Huskers will do with special teams.
To start, Frost confirmed that outside linebackers coach Mike Dawson will be “the lead” for Nebraska on special teams. As far as Frost is concerned, Dawson will be the “special teams coordinator,” but added that titles don’t mean that much to him or his staff. He credited Dawson’s background with special teams coaching experience.
Investigation
According to Brett McMurphy of The Action Network, the Husker football program and head coach Scott Frost are under NCAA investigation for improper use of analysts and consultants during practices and games.
McMurphy’s report also says Nebraska moved workouts “to an undisclosed off-campus location” last year when the NCAA had shut down all workouts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s unknown whether that is part of the investigation.
Frost
Scott Andrew Frost is an American football coach and former player, he was born on January 4, 1975. He is the head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Before Nebraska, Frost was the head coach at University of Central Florida during the Knights’ 13–0, 2017 season.
