A forward, Jiménez is known for his physical presence in the penalty area, as well as his ability to hold-up play and his ability in the air, which allows him to head long passes on or bring the ball down and bring others into play. Despite his size, however, he has been described as not just a “traditional number nine,” but a “well-rounded player.” His playing style has led to comparisons with Zlatan Ibrahimović. Jiménez is also known for his high penalty conversion rate.
