The 25th Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on March 9β13, 2022, with the city of Indianapolis hosting the event for the 13th time. All 14 Big Ten events will compete in this year’s tournament, with the winner receiving automatic Big Ten qualification to the NCAA Tournament.
Illinois are the defending Big Ten tournament champions, winning their third tournament title and the first in 2021 in 16 years with a 91-88 overtime win over Ohio State in the championship game.
The Big Ten Network will broadcast the first 10 games of the tournament (from the first round to the quarter-finals), with CBS Sports broadcasting the semifinals and championship game on CBS for the 25th consecutive year. All BTN games can be streamed via the web, smartphone, tablet, and connected device via the Fox Sports app, while the CBS Sports broadcast will be available to stream on Paramount.

No. 5 seed Iowa defeated No. 12 seed Northwestern 112-76 in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament on Thursday. The Hawkeyes left no doubt, leaping to a 33-point lead at halftime and never really letting their foot run out of gas. 112 is the most points scored by a team in Big Ten tournament history.
Keegan Murray led the way to victory with 26 points and eight rebounds as five Hawkeyes finished with double digits. Jordan Bohannan was the second leading scorer with 17.
With the win, Iowa advances to the quarterfinals on Friday where it will take on No. 4 seed Rutgers at 2 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
