when does it start?
The new season ended on 27 June with the first phase of the first round – just 29 days after Chelsea take the UEFA Europa League trophy for the second time in Baku Group Stage Line-up confirmation by adhering to three more qualifying rounds before the play-off at the end of August. That phase starts on September 19 and runs for two or three weeks till 12 December. The knockout phase is going on February 20, with the closing of the season in Gdansk on 27 May 2020.
How does qualifying work?
Seventeen of the 48 teams fighting in the group stage of 2019/20 have been confirmed. They will join August with 21 play-off winners, as well as ten teams out in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round and play-off.
There are two UEFA Europa League qualifying paths:
Champions Trophy – This route involves teams ending in UEFA Champions League Champions Path between the initial rounds and the third qualifying round. By this route eight teams will reach the group stage.
Main Path – This route includes entrants from the remaining 55 organizations plus the UEFA Europa League, as well as the teams have been eliminated from the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League League. Thirteen teams will reach the group stage through this route.

Where is the final?
The specific Gdansk Stadium will staged the finals on May 27, 2020. Opened in 2011, Ground hosted four matches in UEFA Euro 2012: three group stage fixtures and 4-2 quarter-finals victory against Greece. This is the home stadium of Lechia Gedak, who entered the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League and has also worked as a venue for many international friends of Poland.
